PEELERS IN THE WAR

The Brampton Library (Ontario) will donate an important set of records created during the Second World War to the Archives at PAMA (Peel Art Gallery, Museum and Archives).

The Peel War Board Records is a set of more than 2,800 index cards created for the men and women of Peel who served during the Second World War.

The cards contain biographical and genealogical details, employment history, education, religious affiliation, military service and honours. While the official service records of these men and women are protected, the information on the cards will be available at the archives.

An index to the cards will be available at pama.peelregion.ca.
