HISTORIC ST. LOUIS MAPS FOR GENEALOGISTS

There’s much more to maps than finding directions. Historic maps that depict former boundaries and landmarks can help you understand your ancestor’s experience more fully. Specialized types of maps, including plats and fire insurance maps, can help you locate new facts about your family history. Librarian Emily Jaycox will present a slide talk illustrated with examples from the Missouri History Museum's map collections.

When: Saturday, June 7, 10:30 a.m.
Where: Missouri History Museum (Lindell and DeBaliviere in Forest Park)
How much: Free
