FOOD FOR FINES @ ST. LOUIS PUBLIC LIBRARY

If you've got a St. Louis Public Library card, and you have fines on your record, here's your chance to help the needy while you help yourself!

Food For Fines @ St. Louis Public Library
July 13-26, 2008

The Library is proud to partner with the St. Louis Area Foodbank in the Food for Fines program.

Bring in one canned goods item and receive $1 off overdue fines.*

Acceptable items include:

Canned Meat
Peanut Butter
Rice & Beans
Canned Fruit
Powdered Milk
Beef Stew
Macaroni & Cheese
Canned Soup
Canned Vegetables
Baby Formula
Canned Chili
Hot & Cold Cereal
NO GLASS ITEMS PLEASE!

Even if you don’t have fines, we will gladly accept items for the Foodbank during these two weeks.

* 1. Maximum of $25.00 in fines on adult cards. Offer does not apply to lost or damaged items.
2. Children and teens can also take part in Read Down Your Fines!
