ST. LOUIS FAMILY HISTORY RESEARCH GUIDE

This in from Joyce Loving at St. Louis County Library (and I'm in total agreement about Ann's new book- picked mine up at St. Louis Family History Fair):

Many of you may know Ann Fleming, former president of both the National Genealogical Society and the St. Louis Genealogical Society. Ann has published a new book entitled St Louis Family History Research Guide.

I highly recommend this book for all genealogical libraries. This "must-have" guide for anyone researching St. Louis ancestors includes sections on St. Louis history, communities and neighborhoods, research facilities and records. Two appendices list the current location of records and an alphabetical contact list. The book is indexed and contains many charts, lists and images of original records. Softcover. $25.00, plus $5.00 shipping and handling. Order from Fleming Publishing, P. O. Box 8486, St. Louis, MO 63132 or online at www.stlouisancestors.com. Ann will accept purchase orders from libraries.
